I love Madrid – the world class museums, architecture, pretty plazas, terrific social lifestyle, friendly people, and of course – the amazing food.
In our 7 Nights in Madrid we made nearly nightly forays to Calle de Cava Baja for a little tapas bar hopping from Plaza Mayor to Calle de Humilladero. Once you find a favorite bar it’s hard to leave and try another, but you must – that’s what tapas bar hopping is all about. Try some of the bar specialties, just a tapa and a vino here and there. By the end of the night you’ll have had a uniquely Spanish eating and drinking experience and come away from it more than just a little happy.
