A great 3 nights at Vila Piranesi – the location can’t be beat and our “Comfort One Bedroom Apartment with Sea View” (Booking.com) was just that – comfortable with a terrific view of the harbor.

Our apartment #526 had a window facing the harbor and windows from the living room and the bedroom overlooking a quiet street below. The king size bed was very comfortable and we slept great here. The kitchenette was packed with kitchenware and even a dishwasher- perfect for our needs for a short stay. We moved the dining table out from against the wall to have a better space for our working environment with the 2 laptops and that worked out terrific.

Communication with the property was easy via email and text. The reception is closed between 1pm and 4pm, but Drago (the owner) texted us the number of our room in advance so we could drop off the luggage. The key to the room and the voucher to drive out of Piran after dropping the luggage were left in the room for us. You need the voucher to get out of the permit only area without paying. Very efficient, easy and friendly service! The discounted parking was also much appreciated.

There weren’t many English language channels to watch on the small LCD TV, the WIFI dropped occasionally so wasn’t the best there, but it was OK on and off. But despite those inconveniences I’d stay here again in a room with a sea view without hesitation, that view was wonderful and I loved gazing out at that beautiful harbor day and night.
