MHL Micro USB to HDMI 1080p HDTV Cable Adapter
Samsung Galaxy S3, S4, S5
So, you have a big data plan on your Samsung Galaxy phone – did you know you can watch your favorite Netflix shows on it? But even better, you can connect your phone to a big TV with this handy cable adapter. The phone has to be plugged into power to do it, just plug the cable USB connector end into an electrical receptacle with a USB connection, connect the HDMI connector to the TV HDMI port, and connect the micro end to your phone – that’s it!
Terrific way to have a little TV downtime when you’re staying somewhere that has lousy WIFI but YOU have great phone service. You can get one on Ebay or Amazon for around $7.00.
What Else?
- To watch Netflix online you need a streaming plan.
- Most of the cable kits are not sold with the USB power adapter that plugs into the electrical receptacle (aka electric outlet).
- The USB cable that plugs into your USB power adapter is pretty short, you might need an electrical extension cord or a USB extension cable.
- Watching a couple of hours of TV on your phone will use about 1+ GB of data, check your data plan first to see how much you have available.
